BASHCon XXVII - Home
Looking for a good time? Join more than 1000 gaming fans for a weekend packed with video games, miniatures, pen and paper role-playing, and more! BASHCon XXVII is Feb. 17-19, 2012, at The University of Toledo Main Campus Student Union in Toledo, Ohio.
Con Hours are:
Friday, February 17: 5:00 PM to Midnight (Registration at 4PM)
Saturday, February 18: 9:00 AM to Midnight
Sunday, February 19: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Board Game Championship with a variety of boardgames and you could win a cup in the end. Are you the best boardgamer?
- Exhibitors Hall full of gaming goodies, from board games, to books, to dice, and more.
- Battletech Pods enter a cockpit and pilot a giant mech. More info here.
- Games Bazaar on Saturday. Get rid of your old stuff and get some new old stuff in exchange! Auction Form.
- Dagorhir Battle Games combines fast-paced full-contact combat simulation with elements of live action role-playing. It is a medieval combat game played with padded weapons. Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Eaten Alive is a live fire zombie NERF game. This game is recommended for years 16+.
- Magic the Gathering tournaments. Drafts, Standard and more. Rolling tournaments will be held so as soon as there is enough people for draft or standard a tournament will launch.
- Video Games Tournaments Smash Bros Melee and Brawl. Call of Duty. Halo: Reach.
- Paint & Take Sit down and relax and get in some time painting a miniature.
- Cosplay Contest Show off your costumes and have a chance at winning a prize!
- Organized RPGs Living Forgotten Realms (DnD 4th ed.), Pathfinder and more!
- Anime Marathon Constant Anime viewings all weekend!
- Are you a Pirate or a Ninja? register to be a pirate or a ninja and by entering and winning in games at BASHCon you can add to a total score your faction is getting.
- Cheaper than dinner and a movie at a mere $15 for weekend admission. And UT students, faculty & staff get in free!*

What a great BASHCon!!
BASHCon was awesome this weekend. I would like to thank everyone that volunteered and the leadership of BASHCon. We did a great job. The attendees were happy and lots of fun. Thanks for coming everybody, we do this to provide fun for you and we succeeded.

So close! Congratulations Pirates of BASHCon. Those Ninjas didn't know what was coming. It was a close battle during the entire convention. Sensei Patrick McCarthy (Vice Chair of BASHCon) is not pleased, but your Cap'n (Me) is going to share the loot with all of the pirates, hahaha.
I'm going to miss running BASHCon and hopefully I will be an attendee next year.

News from Mayfair [Two games premiering and more]
Alex Yeager from Mayfair and, BASH Alumni and Honorary Member, has some news for you:
"Now it can be told: we will have not one, but TWO Mayfair world premieres at BASHCon: the first copies of Rocket Jockey and Whitewater will be on hand for play, either through the Santa's Toy Box events or What's New at Mayfair on Saturday night. Check it out!
Also, we'll have Giant Settlers of Catan and a Giant Aeroplanes prototype available for play all weekend long. See you at the games!"

Preregisteration closes at Midnight Wednesday
Make sure you preregister before midnight on Wednesday. It's simple, create an account in the registration system and make sure you register for a badge (we can't premake those badges for you without you signing up for one). Register for events too so that you can get everything you need at the preregistration line.

BASHCon is gonna be awesome this year. We have a ton of new events. The events list is complete and we won't be taking anymore event submissions anymore. Make sure you preregister!
