BashCon Miniatures Gaming
« on: February 15, 2010, 01:22:34 AM »
Feb 13th I saw a flyer at the Daryl's Game Room for BashCon XXV. I happened to see that the dates said it was this upcoming weekend.  I went to check out their website and was surprised and disappointed to find there was NO INFO about the schedule of events.  I used to go to UT and am now out of the loop b/c I moved to Cleveland.

Are there any miniatures events going on?  I can make the drive to Toledo, but I don't want to show up and there be nothing there for me to play.  I play Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K, Warmachine, and Hordes.

Does anyone have info if there is going to be a 40K tournament or something?

Thanks

I found my own answer, oddly enough on a site for gamers in Cleveland.  Well, for Warhammer 40K anyway...

Too bad they can't say for sure if you will have a ROOM available to play it in
Give a man a fire and he will be warm for a night.
Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

My husband is a WarHammer 40k fan, he will be sitting aruond all weekend working on his minis. He does alot of custom green putty work.

He is hoping for some Warhammer 40k gaming, if there isnt...he's gonna army build all weekend.

I've spoken to some of the guys that run the tourney and they said that there would be one this year.  Apparently it was still iffy last week and it won't get into the registration system, but it WILL happen.

Thanks for the updates! I think that I'll bring a tournament army and if there's no spot to play... well, who knows, maybe I'll play some board games or something else.

My club has tried to register for bash at least three times in the last three months. No one from bash contacted us. I talked to the young lady incharge of events for bash at the gameroom on January 21st and was told we were good and would be in the ingham room. I got a email on monday asking for information about our events that had already been turned in. So are we running events at Bash?  Do we have the room? If we don't please let us know so we do not try and move all our stuff on friday. That costs us a great deal of money, and we would not want to waste ours or your time.
