Dark Aeons events at Bashcon
« on: February 20, 2010, 12:51:21 AM »
I need to know if we are going to have a room to ourselves at Bashcon. I had to cancel Fridays games due to a 24hour bug on my part. I have found out through a friend that was at the convention that there was a group dug in at the room that had be assigned for the Dark Aeons events for the weekend already. I need to know if we are going to have a space to ourselves to run the Dark Aeons events (as agreed before Friday). If not, then we will not be attending Bashcon this year. Please get back with me ASAP because this is a 3 hour trip from Cincinnati and I want to make sure that you are not wasting our time in coming up. You need to get back with me before 5am.

Does anyone from the Bashcon staff even monitor these forums. I have made repeated attempts to get in touch with the organizers of this convention to determine the status of the space issue that I brought up in my earlier posts and in emails to Nicole. The trip from Cincinnati to Toledo is a 3 hour journey and I need to know this is going to be worth my time. My company was planning on bringing a massive amount of prize support with us for those that played in our events, but is becomes a mote point when no one from the UT-BASH organizers will even respond to forum or email communications. It is 8am now, if I can not get a confirmation from the individuals that manage the Bashcon convention by 9:30am at the lastest, then we at Stardust Publications will be canceling the events that we had planned to run at your convention.

Thank you for your time.

We at Stardust Publications would like to thank everyone that participated in our events at Bashcon this year. Photos will be up on the Stardust Publications website in a few days.

For those that wanted to participate in our games but were not able to, the Bashcon computer system had a severe malfunction that caused it to list all of the Saturday games as full when in fact there were plenty or not spots currently taken up at times. I worked with Nicole in an attempt to get the problem fixed, but by the time that I was made aware of just how bad the malfunction was, it was too late in the day to help most of you folks that wanted to participate in our events.

We will be at Origins (http://www.originsgamefair.com/) this year running more games for those that want to play in them, and we will have copies of Dark Aeons: The Atlantean Chronicles that you will be able to purchase from us.

For those of you that would like to purchase a copy of Dark Aeons locally, I have gotten with the Toledo Game Room and given Darrel the Merchant Order Link so that he can order copies of the books for you. All you have to do is go to the Toledo Game Room and ask him to place the orders at this point.

Once again, thank you for coming to our games and we look forward to seeing all of you again.
